Operations Officer (Contract)


Responsibilities:


•     Perform guest relations duties which include crowd control, attending to customers’ requests and feedback etc.

•     Ensure smooth passenger traffic and baggage operations.

•     Ensure that the terminal’s equipment and facilities for vessels and passengers are in good working order and of
      high reliability.

•     Execute berth and other equipment allocation.

•     Monitor and report security and safety related incidents.

•      Record service standards and ensure service targets are met.

•     Ensure the overall cleanliness of the terminal.

•     Involve in the overall operations of the cruise and ferry terminal. Help to create a pleasant and memorable customer
      experience.

 

Requirements:

•     Minimum GCE ‘N’ level or Employability Skills System (ESS) WPLN Level 4 (equivalent to ‘N’ level)
•     Customer-focused
•     IT literate (Basic understanding of Personal Computers)
•     Technical background (eg mechanical) preferred. Those without but willing to learn are welcome to apply.
•     Willing to work on shift

            -            1st Shift: 7.00 am to 3.00 pm

            -            2nd Shift: 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm

            -            Early reporting at 6.00 am (occasionally)

            -            Ad-hoc shift patterns (if required)

•     Willing to work on public holidays and weekends
•     Willing to observe flexible roster of deployment
