Ferry Advisories and Guidelines

 


To help make your departure through any terminal of Singapore Cruise Centre Pte Ltd a smooth one, do take note of the following security travel tips:

 

Passenger Check-in

You must check in at least 1 hour before the ferry departs.


**Please note that on the eve of long weekends, public and school holidays, more time is needed to check in, and you should expect longer queues due to more passengers travelling than usual.


At SCC@HarbourFront – Check-in closes 25 minutes before departure time


At SCC@Tanah Merah – Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure time


Passengers are advised to check-in and collect their boarding passes at least 1 hour before the registered ferry departure time. Check-in will cease 25 or 30 minutes before the ferry departure time, as listed above.


Documents you need to present at check in include:


• Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity
• Valid visa for your intended destination
• Re-entry visa to Singapore where applicable


All passengers should check that they are issued with the correct boarding passes and that their travel documents are in order before leaving the check-in counter.

Pre-immigration 

It is recommended that passengers pass through the pre-immigration at least 25 minutes before departure.

At SCC@HarbourFront & SCC@Tanah Merah – Pre-immigration gate close 15 mins before ferry departure time


Pre-immigration gates will close 15 minutes before ferry departure time at the respective terminals as listed.
The extra time (recommend0ed 25 minutes) factor queues and thorough security checks.


Documents you need to present for security clearance at the gates:


• Passport
• Boarding Pass


Passengers who arrive late, that is after the pre-immigration gates close, will be required to return to their respective ferry operator’s desk to re-issue another ticket and wait for the next available ferry departure.

Baggage

Baggage Check-in – At least 35 minutes before ferry departure

At SCC@HarbourFront – Baggage check-in closes 20 minutes before departure


At SCC@Tanah Merah – Baggage check-in closes 25 mins before departure


The baggage check-in counters will stop accepting baggage 20 or 25 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure time at the respective terminals as listed above. Extra time is factored in for queues and processing.

 

Documents needed for baggage check-in


• Boarding pass
• Passport


All baggage taken on board the ferry will be subject to screening by terminal security. Passengers should not pack any weapons, combustible items, explosive materials, toxic or other dangerous substances into their baggage. Passengers may be required to have their checked baggage undergo further security screening if deemed necessary.
