The security fee at our regional ferry terminals at HarbourFront and Tanah Merah will be raised from $0.60 to $0.80 per passenger with effect from July 1, 2012.

This is our first increase in 10 years, and is to cover rising costs in particular, for equipment, systems, wages and other compliance expenses arising from additional regulatory requirements to enhance security and safety at major Singapore gateways.
